Happy Mother’s Day

This is for all mothers,  even if they have passed on.  Everybody can remember something very special about their mother.

My mother is still here with us.    I am so thankful and blessed to have a mother that loves me unconditional.  My mother would give her last to make sure we have.  We did not have a lot of money but we were rich with our mother’s love.  My mama would make us potato chips, fried apple pies, hot chocolate from scratch.  I don’t know where I would be without my mama.  I am so blessed to be able  to talk to my mama daily.  And I try to see her whenever I can since we don’t live in the same state.

A friend of mine, is going through one of the hard times of  his life.  His mother passed away on Monday.  My friend realizes no more pain, suffering but that doesn’t make it easy for him to deal with her passing.  My friend and I talked on the phone for hours.  The one thing that he said to me,”Please go see your mama”.  My mama live out-of-town, and I am planning to go see my mama.  Talking over the phone is just not enough.

If your mama is no longer here, please remember the good times.  But spend quality time with your love ones.

Please take time for your mama.  Call and see her as much as possible.  No one knows the day or hour when we are no longer here.

Have you heard that saying,”Give me my flower while I live”.

A mother is the person that gave birth to you.  A mother is also the person that took care of you.  Just remember to appreciate one another:

1.  By giving

2.  Sharing a kind word.

3.  Do something nice or unexpected.

4.  Make a card to give.

5.  Visit

6.  Hugs and Kisses

7.  Take your mother on a walk.

8.  Talk about old memories

9.  Make plans for a trip together.
